Domaine Génot-Boulanger, founded in Burgundy, France, has a rich history spanning several generations. It is a family-owned business that has passed its passion for wine and commitment to quality from one generation to the next. The story of Génot-Boulanger begins with the establishment of the winery, where from the start the family has emphasized producing high-quality Burgundy wines that express the unique terroir of their individual fields. Over the years, Génot-Boulanger has developed and refined their winemaking techniques, always respecting traditional methods while remaining open to innovation. This has allowed them to improve the quality of their wines while maintaining their unique character. Their commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices has also played a central role in the winery's philosophy, ensuring that their vineyards thrive and produce the best grapes possible, generation after generation. Over time, the domain has acquired vineyards in some of the most recognized appellations in Burgundy, including prestigious areas such as Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Puligny-Montrachet. These land holdings allow Génot-Boulanger to produce a wide range of wines that reflect the diversity and richness of the region. Today, Génot-Boulanger stands as a representative of the best in Burgundy wine, with a reputation for creating elegant, balanced wines that are both true to their origins and an expression of the family's deep winemaking traditions. While the details of their history may vary over time, the essence of Domaine Génot-Boulanger's commitment to quality and respect for terroir remains constant, making them a remarkable winery in the heart of Burgundy.

Guillaume and Aude Lavollée

Since 2008, Guillaume and Aude Lavollée have transformed Domaine Génot-Boulanger, elevating quality to new heights. This winery started its journey when Aude's great-grandfather traded the bustle of Paris for the terroir of Burgundy. In 1998, the winery marked its Grand Cru debut with prominent wines like Clos Vougeot and Corton-Charlemagne. The third generation, Francois Delaby, expanded with prestigious 1. Cru's in Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet. Guillaume's arrival in 2006 set an unexpected course as he went from helper to leader. Together with Aude, they began an organic conversion, reinforcing the winery's dedication to sustainability and quality. At Winesomm.dk we have several of the wonderful wines, including the popular Genot Boulanger Pommard Clos Blanc Premier Cru 2019which Jasper morris has given 92 points.
