Cremant
Crémant is a sparkling wine produced in France outside of the Champagne region using the same method as champagne, the ‘méthode traditionnelle’ or ‘champenoise’. This method involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle, which produces a fine and persistent perlage (bubbles). Crémant is produced in several French wine regions, including Alsace, Burgundy, Loire and Jura, and each region gives the wine its unique character.
