The famous E. Pira & Figli winery located in the Barolo wine region of Piedmont, Italy. The history of E. Pira & Figli dates back to the mid-1800s, when the family began cultivating vineyards and producing wine.

Pira & Figli is known for producing excellent Barolo wines. Two of their most famous wines are Barolo Cannubi and Barolo Via Nuova.Barolo Cannubi: This is one of E. Pira & Figli's flagship wines. What makes Barolo Cannubi special is that it is made exclusively from grapes from the Cannubi vineyard, one of the most prestigious and oldest vineyards in the Barolo region. The Cannubi vineyard is renowned for producing grapes of excellent quality, producing wines with complexity, depth and exceptional elegance. Barolo Cannubi is known for its finesse, complexity and ability to age beautifully.
Barolo Via Nuova: This wine is also a highly regarded Barolo from E. Pira & Figli. What sets Barolo Via Nuova apart is that it is made from grapes from different fields around the winery and not just from a single field like Cannubi. The name "Via Nuova" refers to one of the roads leading to the winery. Barolo Via Nuova is known for its fruity character, structure and depth. It typically has a more approachable style in its youth compared to Barolo Cannubi, but it can still develop beautifully with age.
Pira & Figli is today owned by the Boschis family, who have carried on the tradition and quality of the winery for generations. The winery has been recognized both nationally and internationally for their extraordinary Barolo wines and their commitment to producing wines of the highest quality.
