About the wine

Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne, Blanc de Blancs 2013. The moment you open this Comtes de Champagne 2013, all expectations are fulfilled. It is without a doubt an extraordinary experience, a delight for both eyes and taste. Comtes de Champagne, Blanc de Blancs 2013 is clear and brilliant with a beautiful golden tone and fine, lively bubbles. The nose is fresh and the taste is rich and persistent with subtle notes of ginger and licorice. As often seen in this vintage, it has a chalky structure that contributes intense flavors of ripe citrus fruit, purity and a fine and subtle acidity.

Producers Taittinger

Taittinger is a recognized French champagne house with roots dating back to 1734. Based in Reims, Taittinger has built a reputation for producing elegant and well-balanced champagnes, characterized by a high proportion of Chardonnay grapes in their blends. This contributes to the house’s distinctive style, characterized by freshness and finesse. The house flagship, Brut Réserve, consists of 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier. This cuvée is aged for 3-4 years, resulting in a champagne with delicate aromas of fresh fruits and honey. Taittinger remains family-owned and is currently managed by Vitalie Taittinger, daughter of Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger. The family has recently expanded their activities to England with the establishment of Domaine Evremond in Kent, where they produce sparkling wines.
THE TIMES With a dedication to quality and tradition, Taittinger is one of the most respected producers in the Champagne region.
