Domaine des Amadieu is a beautiful 7-hectare estate in Cairanne, a village in Vaucluse, between Rhône and Mont Ventoux.
The different typical Côtes du Rhône varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan are spread across the different terroirs of the village. From the beginning, they cultivated their wine using certified organic production.
The 4 hectares of vines, which are over 50 years old, are pruned using the ‘cup’ technique, which is traditional for this region. In 2012 they began biodynamic production to improve the minerality and natural balance of the wines. Harvesting is done by hand to select the best ripeness of the grapes and also sort the grapes if necessary.
The winery, built in the Provencal style in 1992, allows us to carry out traditional vinification by variety or by plot. As a result, they produce around 35,000 bottles of fine, elegant wines.
