The Cluny family has been growing wine for more than 6 generations in Brochon in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy and when you drink wine from Domaine Cluny and Burgundy in general, you step into winemaking that goes back more than 2000 years.

Today, sisters Léa and Camille Cluny carry on the legacy of founder Charles Cluny and together they run and develop this beautiful domain. Since its inception in the early 20th century, understanding terroir has been at the heart of the domain’s efforts to get the best out of each parcel. And in recent years, the focus has been on sustainable farming, including improved tillage techniques. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and sorted by hand so that only the very best grapes find their way to the winery. The wine is made in the traditional way without added yeast, 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with the use of new barrels varying as needed.

Domaine Cluny has 7 hectares in the communes of Chambolle Musigny and Gevrey Chambertin, areas that traditionally produce wines of finesse and complexity with great aging potential.
