Producers Coli

Coli is based in Tuscany. This is where the winery was founded back in 1926, when two brothers, Pietro and Giovanni, had the idea just outside the city of Florence. They started producing both Chianti and Chianti Classico. From 1943 to 1975, it was Gino, Adorno and Elio who ran the winery. From then until 2000, the company was run by the two brothers, Giampiero and Gianfranco. Their unique drive and passion has made the winery one of the largest and most competitive in Tuscany to this day. Today, the winery is run by Filippo, Belinda, Giacomo and Gianluca Coli and not only has vineyards in Tuscany, they have vineyards in several regions of Italy. Contada is the name of their area in Abruzzo. Here they produce both Trebbiano and Montepulciano. Terramia is the name of their area in Apulia. Here they produce Primitivo. Messére Tommaso is the name of their Chianti Classico DOCG which comes from the region of Tuscany.
