Collalto, San Salvatore Brut is the classic Collalto Prosecco. Here you sense the full potential of the classic Glera grape.
Collalto has named this Brut, San Salvatore, because the vineyard used to produce this wine is located at the top of the hill in front of the castle of San Salvatore. This vineyard receives continuous breezes and the soil type is rocky, allowing the roots to go very deep. The wine has 9 grams of residual sugar per liter, which gives an incredible balance between the acidity and its freshness. In 2021, San Salvatore was named by IWSC as one of the World’s Very Best Wines.
