Aglianico grapes

Aglianico is a blue grape variety that originates from southern Italy. It is particularly known for producing wines with a deep color, high acidity and pronounced tannins, making it suitable for aging. It is primarily grown in the Campania and Basilicata regions, where it is used to make some of Italy's most recognized red wines, such as Taurasi DOCG and Aglianico del Vulture DOC.
